Step 1: Navigate to the Media Library
Navigate to the Media Manager Dashboard, to access the Quick-View media library. This is a hub menu that offers a wide range of media resources management options. You may view all details relating to the files that are uploaded on the on-line storage of the platform. As demonstrated on the screen shot below, through the media manager dashboard you may view the file size, media file type, creation time, last modification time, and also you may open the in-depth view dashboard, by clicking on the digital eye button!
Step 3: In-depth View Dashboard
The In-depth view, offers a more comprehensive outline of the selected media file. In the example below, an image is the selected media file that has already been uploaded on Screens. From this portal, you may perform a wide range of media editing actions. As demonstrated on the screen shot below, a preview of the content is laid-out to ensure the file is displayed as expected. From the right side of the In-depth view menu, it is possible to view the info regarding this media file, download it, as well as, importantly create a quick playlist, which you may amend from the playlists dashboard! Another captivating features is the AI generated text based on image tags, which you may create from the corresponding "New Tag" button, just below the "Semantic" section. Save the caption and edit later! This feature works for video files just as well, and it produces a caption for your videos, by recognizing objects automatically.
With AI tools in your arsenal, sky is truly the limit when it comes to smart media resource management.
Step 3a. Upload Files
Here, you'll find four options to choose from, each catering to a different type of media source:
1. My Device: This option allows you to upload media files stored on your computer. When you select this, a file explorer window will open, letting you navigate to the location of your file, select it, and upload it to the platform.
2. Camera: Opting for this will activate your device's camera, enabling you to capture fresh images or video footage. Once you've recorded your content, you can directly upload it to the platform.
3. Audio: This option turns on your device's microphone, allowing you to record audio clips. After recording, you can immediately upload the audio file to the platform.
4. Screencast: If you need to record activities happening on your screen, this is the option to choose. It enables you to create a video recording of your screen, which you can then upload to the platform.
Step 5: Preview and Confirm Your Selection
After selecting your media, you'll see a preview of the selected files. Take a moment to review your selections. You can view each file, and if necessary, remove any file by clicking on the "x" button on its top-right.
If you wish to add more media, you can do so by clicking on the "Add More" button and repeating the selection process.
Once you're satisfied with your selection, click the "Upload" button to begin the upload process.
Remember, the time it takes to upload a file can vary depending on the file's size and your internet connection speed. Always ensure that the upload is fully complete before navigating away from the page.
Congratulations! You've successfully uploaded any media type to your Optehub digital signage platform. You can now proceed to schedule the display of your content; at Any Time, Day, Night, Sundays Holidays Included!
